Hi guys. I'm back. lol. been too long, had to create a new account. Haven't been able to join your games since you guys went legit with the server. hehe.
I still host games at my net cafe using the rkmod (v3), but i still sometimes get an impure client detected error when changing gametype on map change.
Some net info states that map .iwd files should stay in the map folders, but sometimes the problem is fixed by adding the map iwd in the rkmod_v2 folder. Then the problem happens again after a few games. Sometimes it also causes an infinite download loop for the map .iwd files.
All maps in each workstation at the cafe are the same as the server. So any insights?
And, how do i get a hold of Phantom? tried emailing him on the hotmail address he has, but i haven't gotten a reply. I sort of need his permission on something.

Phantom should be around sometime soon. On vaction. One of the guys was having the same impure client issue also. Phantom said download the last ver. of the mod the impure client fix was included. As for the looping... Are any of the op's Vista??? cya dude |

Hi Jigsaw! no, none of the computers i have are on Vista. All of em are on XP SP3. Weird thing is that a specific map plays ok on one gametype, but during a map rotation that brings it to the same map with a different gametype, it all clients connected to me start downloading the iwd of the map. I'll have to wait for Phantom to get back. Thanks again man. Can't wait to see the improvements on v4.++! |

Welcome Spider, Make sure you are registered at our website and login. Go to the "DOWNLOADS" section in the upper left hand corner of the website main page, you'll see right below "HOME". Go to the "CALL OF DUTY 4" section at you'll find the fix there at the bottom of the page.
